Flu Season Is Just Around The Corner


 

2024-2025 flu vaccine will be available starting in mid-to-late September. According to the CDC, “Routine annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all persons aged 6 months and older who do not have contraindications” (MMWR 2019, August 23). This includes pregnant women and people with medical conditions

Influenza vaccines are given at your local health department office from 8:30am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, please contact your local health department office for an appointment.

The cost for standard flu vaccine is $65.  High dose flu vaccine will be available for $105.  We accept most major insurances; call for confirmation. 

If you have a large group, such as an industry or agency or church group that needs the vaccine, please call your local health campus to arrange for a nurse to come out and give the vaccine.
