Environmental Health Complaint Process
Please print out and complete the Complaint Form (FH 4001.010)
Email the completed form to the county office location where the property is located:
- McDowell County – Email to mcdowellenv@foothillshd.org
- Rutherford County – Email to rutherfordenv@foothillshd.org
Include with the form any photo evidence that you may be able to provide for documentation.
Important Information:
- Complaints with false names, anonymous, or blank names will not be given high priority
- A complaint to the Environmental Health Department is a public record and will be treated as such
- The Environmental Health Department is not responsible for complaints involving animals, trash or refuse
- A complaint to the Environmental Health Department does not grant right-of-entry onto any piece of property
